Safety

What are your health safety protocols?

To maintain a healthy environment for our parents, staff, and little ones, we implement a daily health check for all children enter involving sanitizing hands, answering daily screening questions, and a temperature check. Our caretakers also implement regular hand washing and daily sanitization of the space and toys with non-toxic cleaning supplies.

Memberships

Do you have to use coworking hours while your kids are in child care?

No! You are welcome to use your coworking hours when it is most convenient for you, whether that be while your child is in child care or during any of our other operating hours. We'll keep you updated on your little one throughout the day on the Procare app, whether you are in house or away for the day!

Do you offer drop in care?

Yes! You can sign in and schedule care on-demand through BumoCare! We do not guarantee day-of drop in care but encourage members to call and check availability if last minute care is needed.

How do I make changes to my membership?

To make adjustments to your coworking or child care selections, please reach out to our concierge at centurycity@hellobumo.com or call/text +1 (310) 868-2235. Changes to your membership must be made before your billing deadline on the 18th and will take effect the following month, pending program availability.

When can I cancel my membership?

If you decide to cancel your membership, you must do so before the 8th to take effect in the following month! i.e, If a parent decides to cancel their membership starting in the month of February, they will have to write to us at centurycity@bumowork.com on or before January 8th.

When do program members get charged?

Memberships are payable monthly in advance and are charged automatically to the credit card on file on the 18th of each month for enrollment for the following month.

Coworking

Can I reserve the conference room?

Yes, active members are able to easily reserve the conference room online. Hourly fees apply.

Do you validate parking?

No, but you can purchase mall parking passes from us for half off ($150 for 10 full day passes).

Do you have a nursing room?

Yes! We have a nursing room that is situated between the workspace and the infant care room.

Do I need to check in for the coworking space?

Yes, please check in at the front desk. If you do not have a co-working membership, you must book in advance through BumoCare.

Do you have to have a coworking membership to have child care?

All members must have a coworking membership to add a fixed child care schedule. However, on-demand care through BumoCare does not require a co-working membership.

Are pets allowed in the coworking space?

We do not allow pets in the coworking space.

If I need an itemized list/receipt, how do I get one? (For coworking members wanting to bill their employer for their coworking/child care)

Child Care

Are meals provided?

We offer healthy kids meals from Little Spoon for purchase, including solid food plates and fruit and vegetable puree blends. We also offer a variety of healthy options for snack time. Our menu can be checked weekly by parents for details!

Can I pack a lunch for my child?

Parents have the option to pack a meal + snack from home or buy a meal at BümoWork provided by Little Spoon. We have a variety of blends and plates to choose from.

Do you serve nut-based products for snacks/lunches?

No, BümoWork is a nut-free zone, so there are no tree nut or peanut based products allowed in the coworking or child care space.

How do I schedule extra a la carte child care?

Simply go to our scheduling page on Bumo.Care where you will then book your desired day + time and check out. If you have purchased a bundle, enter your membership email before booking to redeem your credits!

Does Bumo conduct parent- teacher meetings?

There are meetings for parents to meet with the Lead Teacher and sometimes Assistant Teacher as well. This is a great time to discuss goals, observations, and your child's progress.

Why do parents need to fill out Enrollment/Licensing forms?

Licensing and Enrollment forms are mandated by the state for each child. It also helps the team and the teachers keep track of nap times, meal schedules, and allergies.

Do you offer early + late pickup?

We offer emergency early drop-off and late pick-up. Fees apply.

Do you have an outdoor space for kids to play?

Yes! We have a gated play area located just outside the front doors.
